Summary
PokeDot stores gameplay progress on your device so your levels, score history, pet status,
daily counters, and settings can continue between sessions. The app does not operate a custom
backend server in the current release-prep build. Google services may process data for ads,
purchases, system backup, and platform functionality.
Data Stored On Device
PokeDot stores gameplay progress locally on the device, including level progress, score
history, selected pet, pet energy, mood, bond, daily play counters, care counters, ad reward
counters, language choice, sound settings, and purchase entitlement state. This data is used
for app functionality and to continue your game experience.
Android Backup
On Android, PokeDot progress may be included in Android backup and device-transfer flows when
your device backup settings and Google Play restore behavior allow it. This helps eligible
app updates, reinstalls, or device transfers keep local progress.
Rewarded Ads
The free version may show rewarded ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or process data
such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and app activity
according to Google's advertising and privacy policies. Rewards are granted only after a rewarded
ad is completed.
Purchases
The optional one-time unlock is processed through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles
payment information. PokeDot receives purchase status and product entitlement information so it
can unlock paid features. The planned product ID is pokedot.buyout.v1.
Saved Result Images
PokeDot may let you save a result card or pet card image. These images can include the PokeDot
name, stage score, medal, pet avatar, pet rarity, pet attribute, or pet status information.
Images are generated on the device and saved only when you choose to save them.
Data Sharing
PokeDot does not sell personal information. Third-party providers such as Google AdMob, Google
Play Billing, Google Play services, and Android system backup may process data as part of ads,
purchases, diagnostics, fraud prevention, app functionality, or system restore behavior.
Children
PokeDot is not currently intended to be a child-directed app. If the target audience changes,
ads, data collection, content rating, store listing, and this policy must be reviewed again for
applicable family and child-safety requirements.
